The best fish and chips in Helensburgh

Fantastic as always.

The chicken in batter was very disappointing. It was quite grey in colour and had a stringy in texture, basically it was either very poor quality or old chicken and it went in the bin. Chips wee lovely however the curry sauce was watery. Bit of a miss tonight sorry.

Have ordered many times from them but the last time the portion was very small like a kid’s portion

Portion sizes can be quite small at times . Bit hit and miss in size off cod amd size off Portion off chips. Also curry sauce is like water sometimes too . Apart from that its delicious

May I suggest that you mark up similar orders to make it clear which is which as it’s not clear externally which is cod and which is haddock!

My cod was a disappointment in size, more like a large fish finger in batter. In future I may order haddock.

No salt on chips like I requested Tub of gravy was pretty much empty

Ordered online and given food exactly on estimated time

Received my ordered meal on time, although one Item was missing. But after a phone call, was assured that the missing Item would be with me shortly👌🏻🤗

Fish was lovely but felt the chips weren't as good as we've had before. Not as fresh maybe being mid week? Had great meals in the past so will be back!

Food was hot and tasty. Lovely meaty fish, perfectly cooked.

Unfortunately chips were brown and chewy. I get the impression they may have been sat out and kept warm for a long time. Curry sauce was also extremely watery. Other food was nice. Lovely chunky bits of scampi.
